Reinforced Concrete Framework
Further to ground works BH Basements undertake superstructure works on most of our projects. This will regularly involve the structure being formed with an RC frame. These works are carried out in conjunction with the project engineers and temporary works engineers. We professionally assess each stage right through from developing design, forming the RC framework to striking.
Reinforced concrete framework refers to a structural system commonly used in construction where reinforced concrete elements, such as columns, beams, and slabs, are assembled to form a rigid framework that supports the load of a building or structure. BHB would install the frame as part of the superstructure package and then wrap the frame in either a cladding or brickwork envelope. Reinforced concrete frameworks are favored for their strength, durability, and versatility. They can be used in a wide range of building types, from residential houses to high-rise buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects. Additionally, they offer the advantage of being able to resist both compression and tension, making them suitable for various structural applications.
