Project Management
Whether the scale of your job is large or small, The project manager is integral to the build. We pride ourselves in our high standard of project management. The project manager is there to ensure that all work is carried out in the most efficient way.
Quality, Guarantees & Insurance
BH Basements quality assurance is an essential part of the service. A 10 year insurance backed latent defect cover is offered for all structural works. The waterproofing systems are designed by a CSSW (Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing) and we utilise a minimum 2 of the A, B & C of the 3 types of protection selected for job specific installations. Above and beyond the product warranties and our company warranties for the install we can also offer and insurance backed guarantee on solely our tanking works if the overall latent defects cover for the entire project is not adopted.

Our Values
Our foundation is built upon unwavering values that define who we are and how we operate.
Health and safety and well being
Prioritising health, safety, and wellbeing in the construction industry and across each and every of BHB’s projects, this not only protects workers from harm but also has other benefits for the project as a whole. Ensuring health, safety, and wellbeing in our industry requires a proactive approach from BH Basements management and operatives. By adhering to regulations, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing on all our sites we can create a safer, healthier, and more productive workplace.
Integrity and trust
Integrity and trust are foundational elements that underpin successful and sustainable businesses. BHB prides themselves in fact that all of our previous clients along with clients consultants are return clients. In today’s competitive and fast-paced business environment, maintaining a reputation for integrity and earning the trust of our customers, employees, consultants and partners, is more important than ever.
Building safety Act
The Building Safety Act will have significant implications for the construction industry in the UK and BHB take it very seriously the possibilities that can arise from previous shortfalls in design and planning the projects . This includes the client, the principal contractor (BHB) and the principal designer. It will require industry professionals to adapt to new roles, responsibilities, and regulatory requirements. There will be a greater focus on building safety throughout the design, construction, and management of buildings, with stricter requirements for compliance and accountability. In summary, the Building Safety Act represents a major reform of the building safety regulatory system in the UK, aiming to improve building safety standards, enhance accountability, and protect residents and occupants of buildings.
Environmental Philosophy and Sustainable design
Environmental and sustainable design has become a cornerstone of modern construction practices in the UK. By integrating sustainable design principles and practices into building projects, the construction industry can contribute to addressing climate change and reducing and offsetting the environmental impact our projects may have. BHB will ensure that we use recycled materials, cement replacement wherever possible and all material taken off site are responsibly recycled and disposed.
Staff Career Progression and Training
Career progression and training are vital aspects of how BHB approach the longevity of our business, enabling employees to develop their skills, advance their careers, and contribute to the success of BHB. As the construction industry continues to evolve with technological advancements, regulatory changes, and shifting market demands, investing in staff training and development is crucial for staying competitive and ensuring high-quality project delivery for our clients.
